Creating a production metric model with production data and 3D seismic volumes allows the seismic data to be used for more than structural mapping, rudimentary facies determination and steering purposes, and to directly impact the asset’s business planning in terms of drilling priorities, landing zone optimization, completion decisions and cash-flow predictions.
