What is it about?

Accumulation and contamination by hydrocarbons have a serious environmental impact. Thus, the use of microorganisms as degrading agents for various carbon sources is little explored in environmental remediation processes. The experimental data displayed the potential application of these bacteria in bioremediation processes, due to their metabolic and adaptive capacities to grow in a rich hydrocarbon medium.
