What is it about?
The olfactory nerve is often overlooked since it seems as a small anatomical sstructure wuth "modest" function. However it plays a key role in several diseases and together with the olfactory bulb and tract is a marker of some disease.

Olfactory nerve, bulb and tract variations are often overlooked while they are important for clinical practice. They sometimes are associated with genetic conditions such as Kallmann syndrome.
