Why is it important?

The study analyses how various factors such as the police state, lack of justice and dignity, lack of political space, fraudulent economic practices contributed to the making of the Tunisian Revolution. While the Revolution was long in the making, the internet, social networking sites, and the media played a very critical role in expanding the wave of protests in Tunisia and beyond.

Perspectives

Although this academic exercise was quite challenging, I enjoyed it since it enabled me to explore Tunisia and the Revolution that occurred there from a variety of perspectives and helped me to comprehend exactly what was happening throughout the pre-revolution and post-revolution periods. Moreover, the constructive criticism I got from the anonymous reviewers proved to be quite reassuring.
