What is it about?
What might it mean to talk about "antiquarianism" in late antiquity? Is it just the stuff which is close to "proper" history but doesn't quite make it? That seems like a rash generalization - much better to look at how a complex understanding of modern antiquarianism can allow us to see the late antique material in a better light. Antiquarianism is no longer a transhistorical practice, but a heuristic.
