What is it about?
Machine tools and assets are complex to break down into their child components physically and structurally, and no standardized way exists to delineate faults associated with them. We propose a framework based on ontological compliance with multiple disparate standards with graphical motifs relevant to machine-component-fault-sensor mapping to specify suitable sensors and sensing suites for various components present within a machine.
