What is it about?

The long term creep properties of Zr-2.5%Nb alloy was analysed using Wilshire method. The parameters of the Wilshire equations were determined using accelerated creep test data from tests done in the temperature regime of 325 °C to 450 °C and stress level range of 0.3 to 0.7 times of YS. The creep curves predicted using Wilshire method was found to be in good agreement with the low temperature creep test data at 275 °C and 300 °C.
