What is it about?
With the content of the polymer increases, the strength increases and the deformation decreases. The critical stress ratio of polymer aggregates mix is less affected by the polymer content, and the critical stress ratios of different polymer contents are equal when cohesion of polymer is considered as additional average effective stress. A boundary surface model of polymer rockfill aggregates based on the critical state approach was proposed. The performance of the model is demonstrated by the results of triaxial tests.
