What is it about?
The main work in this paper is an indoor testing experiment and evaluation of rocks with different fracture lengths. This paper, on the basis of experimental research, combines theoretical analysis and numerical calculation. In addition, the research, while taking into consideration different fracture lengths, confining pressure of rock mass mechanics properties, and behavior of evolution law, establishes and reflects the unique characteristics of the processes of fractured rock mass deformation and destruction of the damage constitutive model.

Why is it important?
The research on the mechanical properties, crack deformation, and propagation behavior of fractured rock mass under load is of great significance for predicting the failure of unstable rock mass and ensuring the safety of fractured rock mass engineering.
