Why is it important?
Raffinose-series oligosaccharides (RSO) are often overlooked compound in human nutrition despite they can provide health benefits to the host if they are consumed in adequate amount. Authors analyse amount of RSO in soybean products and recommend soybean foods with sufficient amount of raffinose-series oligosaccharides able to influence intestinal microbiota.
