What is it about?
Our study looked at how using smartphones at night affects teenagers. We found that using smartphones at night is connected to problems with sleep and feeling sad. So, if you're a teenager who has trouble sleeping or feels down, it might be related to using your phone too much at night. We think it's important for nurses and teachers to talk to teenagers about using their phones in a healthy way to help them sleep better and feel happier.

Why is it important?
What sets our study apart is that it focuses specifically on teenagers and their smartphone use at night, a topic that's highly relevant in today's tech-savvy world. This research sheds light on how this behavior can harm teenagers' sleep and mental well-being. With the increasing use of smartphones among adolescents, our findings are timely and crucial for parents, educators, and healthcare professionals. Understanding this connection can lead to better strategies to address sleep problems and depression in teenagers, making our study valuable and pertinent for a wide audience concerned about youth well-being in the digital age.
