Why is it important?
The biggest asset of this work is gathering in one place all available radiocarbon dates of the Zedmar culture. In the Neolithic landscape of Noth-Eastern Poland and Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia, this small archaeological culture is quite mysterious. There is no new research on Zedmar culture published recently, so calibrating 14C dates together again with Bayesian statistic is one of a few ways to say something new.
