What is it about?
This paper concerns the null controllability of fractional dynamical systems with constrained control. We assume that the linear system is controllable with square integrable control and provided sufficient conditions for the null controllability with constrained control. Further, sufficient conditions for the null controllability of nonlinear system also established. Examples are provided to illustrate the theory.

Why is it important?
All practical control inputs are bounded, the constraint controllability was formulated earlier than the unconstrained one. While the unconstrained controllability has been well understood for several decades, there have been well continual efforts towards full understanding of the constrained controllability. Most real life systems have physical limitations on the controls. Fractional order control system has explicitly focused on the practical consequences inducing an impact on all areas of the control discipline.
