What is it about?
Cell Population Data (CPD) is a set of raw measurement data from automated hematology analyzers. Over the last years the clinical significance of CPD in a number of disease states have become clear. However, many publications on CPD lack information that is essential for reliable data interpretation and conclusions. The present communication focuses on analytical and pre-analytical aspects that should be taken into account by authors reporting on CPD applications in patients.
