What is it about?
Machine Learning (ML) methods and models, as a specific approach to the development of more powerful Artificial Intelligence aids are said to have a clear potential to improve the diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic value of laboratory medicine data in screening, detecting and monitoring many different medical conditions. In this work we present a literature review to understand the current level of diffusion of ML models and their impact on Laboratory Medicine.
