Abstract: We usually do not take into consideration the fact that Nazi-looted books are also have to be taken into account in current acquisition of antiquarian books. The following article deals with an aspect of Nazi persecution-deprived cultural property - unlike many contributions to this subject - not related to the researches of the acquisitions of the 1930s and 1940s, but to the daily acquisition practice of libraries today.
