Why is it important?
The importance of this paper is that the graded index lens can be designed simply by applying a nonuniform voltage to liquid crystal infiltrated annular photonic crystal, as a new method.
Perspectives
I hope the results of this study will be helpful in designing the graded index lenses as useful and simple method in experiment.
