What is it about?
Intelligent energy meters are implemented in many systems for remote monitoring and control and offer possibility of real time remote watching the parameters of the controlled objects by the dispatcher. Soft starters are also widely used in industry for control on asynchronous drives when the speed regulation is not a mandatory requirement. A laboratory system is developed and offers various possibilities of research and implementation into practice many laboratory exercises. This paper presents the stages of design and setting of the system, as well as opportunities of examinations and testing.
