Why is it important?
The methodological approach described in this article is one where the community (the speakers) are both the point of departure and the ending goal of any one project.. Then, it is crucial to have a holistic approach which takes into account the participants history and their sociocultural and linguistic context , and where the goal is to have fair exchanges of knowledge and abilities among the participants. In such a way, the success of a project is measured not only on the basis of countable results, but, most importantly, on profound changes experienced by the participants of the research processes, which will turno into longterm achivements.
