What is it about?
Pumice stone is solid waste from denim washing factory. Here, the removal of indigo from the textile effluent by waste pumice stone from a denim factory was studied. It was concluded that the stone has the potentialities to be used as an adsorbent for discolouration of waste water containing indigo dye and an economic value added is provided to the solid waste.
