What is it about?
To better understand what actions the hotel sector must develop to be sustainable, we developed a battery of indicators that consumers consider valuable. The scale finally includes indicators of economic, legal, ethical, philanthropic, environmental and stakeholder attributes. This study provides managers with a greater understanding of how hotel consumers perceive the corporate responsibility of hotels.

Why is it important?
The study contributes to validating the measurement of Corporate Social Sustainability through a large and representative sample of consumers. It is precisely this group of stakeholders that eventually legitimizes the company's actions through their purchasing behavior. We add knowledge about previous contradictory findings and by considering different theoretical perspectives.
