What is it about?
An overview of 20 years of Drawing research, theory and practice since 2000 based on the references cited by authors in the same journal. It suggests that the field should be called Drawing Studies. It also introduces the articles in the 6.2 issue of the Journal.

Why is it important?
It is a milestone for Drawing Studies since it proposes its designation and scope. Also it tracks the activity of the scholarship in the area since 2000 with also a deep probe into the past 500 years.
