Why is it important?

This timely paper suggests design principles that can be leveraged to support on-demand learning. While it's delivered in the context of music technology and the recording studio, it has broader applicability to anyone incorporating mobile learning into their delivery strategy.

Perspectives

This paper was the culmination of my doctoral research in the area of popular music education. I hope that music production educators find it valuable, as it recognises the variety of ways that contemporary musicians engage with learning. I think that providing supporting resources enriches the student learning experience, and leverages the innate approach to learning used by contemporary musicians.
