What is it about?

This protocol explains how the study is comparing three treatments for preschool age children who stutter in Belgium. The three treatments are explained, the set-up of the study (measurement points, primary and secondary objectives) and the analysis plan.

Why is it important?

If the hypothesis of the study is correct, the three treatments are effective to help preschool age children who stutter. Clinicians will be able to make tailored clinical decisions about which treatment approach to initiate for a child who stutters, based on the child and the family context.

Perspectives

I believe that this study will increase our understanding about treatment for preschool age children who stutter. We work on this intensive study with a great team, including 30 very skilled stuttering therapists.
