What is it about?
Anxiety, nausea and vomiting are commonly experienced by paediatric patients receiving chemotherapy. Our study aims to assess the feasibility and acceptability of IVR for preventing and managing anxiety, nausea and vomiting among paediatric cancer patients receiving their first chemotherapy.

Why is it important?
Our findings suggest that immersive virtual reality (IVR) is feasible for improving anxiety and distress symptoms including nausea and vomiting among this vulnerable group.
