What is it about?
It is suggested that lipids can affect female fertility. In our study, we looked at 33 000 women after giving birth and their lipid levels, tracking them all to theiir birth records to find out how many children they got during their reproductive years.

Why is it important?
Rates of infertility are rising worldwide. If proven to be true, tackling effect of lipids on female fertility could be one of the factors that can help us improove womens’ fertility prospects, along with their health.
