We compiled ten easy tips that help researchers to design understandable and appealing visual summary pictures, also known as Graphical Abstracts or Striking images. The tips include all aspects of a Graphical Abstract, from defining message, finding and selecting key images and icons, designing a color scheme and layout, to a summary of current tools.
