What is it about?
This study looks at how IT professionals actually use AI in their everyday work. The researchers talked in depth with two IT professionals who already use AI and also surveyed 50 IT professionals in North Macedonia. IT professionals were asked which AI tools they use, what they use them for, and how often they use them during a normal workday. The results show that AI is part of many IT tasks, especially for checking and improving work such as coding help and writing technical documentation. ChatGPT was the most popular tool, used often for documentation and coding support, and many IT managers said they use AI tools every day.
