What is it about?
Breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy are prescribed several drugs. These drugs are often associated with adverse effects, causing a negative impact on quality of life. This study aims to identify drug-related problems (DRPs) and examine their associated factors.

Why is it important?
In low- and middle-income countries like Nepal, very few studies have been conducted to assess DRP and factors associated with it in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. This study can enhance patient care and support continuous improvement of healthcare practices.
Perspectives
The study has raised concerns among clinicians regarding the safe use of drugs in breast cancer patients, where a large number of drugs are prescribed. This would ultimately enhance the overall advancement of cancer care in countries like Nepal, where the scope of cancer care is emerging.
