What is it about?

This study analyzed fast attack plays from women's ice hockey games at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics to understand what makes a team more likely to win. We found that certain actions and game strategies are key in determining the winner. Specifically, we looked at 2011 fast attacks and discovered that shooting from specific areas, making quick one-timer shots, and performing well in the second period are crucial for success. Our findings can help coaches and players improve their game tactics and boost their chances of winning.
