It was about the creation of awareness among adolescents of the importance of seeking tuberculosis screening and testing as early as possible.

Why is it important?
This was a very important strategy to help in the early detection of tuberculosis among adolescents. Early detection would result in early treatment of tuberculosis in adolescents, hence reducing community tuberculosis transmission by adolescents. It was also meant to improve the health of adolescents to be able to effectively study at school.
