Why is it important?

This study's importance is increasing more and more, as globalisation expands and traveling becomes easier. The demand for a more efficient knowledge on how foster the integration of migrants is at its peak.

Perspectives

This piece aims to establish a bridge between evolutionary anthropology, sociology and psychology in what concerns the acculturation process. This communication between different areas is paramount in order to establish a comprehensive picture about how culture is transmitted. Although not all results were conclusive, the novel methodologies proposed are promising to widen our knowledge about the topics here approached.
