What is it about?
The most common medical decision is the prescription of medicines. More than 130 different drugs with proven efficacy are currently available for the treatment of patients with mental disorders. Multiple psychotropic drugs are often required but lead to increased medication risks. We have shown that most inpatients with depressive disorders receive multiple medIcations and that risky drug combinations are frequent. Furthermore, we have shown the main factors that can lead to medication risks.
