Why is it important?

We identified various strengths and weaknesses in the Nigerian healthcare system. The insights gained from this research can inform healthcare policy decisions in Nigeria and other low-income countries. Through understanding the perspectives of frontline healthcare workers, policymakers can implement strategies to address critical issues such as inadequate funding, poor infrastructure, and insufficient staffing. This can ultimately lead to improved patient care and better health outcomes for the Nigerian population.

Perspectives

This research was a collaborative effort that involved numerous healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds. It was both challenging and rewarding to delve into the realities of the Nigerian healthcare system and to hear firsthand accounts of the challenges faced by healthcare workers. We hope that our findings will contribute to positive change and inspire further research in this area.
