What is it about?

We used advanced computer algorithms to predict how well drugs can pass through the skin to deliver medicine. By analyzing the properties of molecules, we identified those with the best chance of success. This could lead to easier and more effective ways of giving medication through the skin, helping patients.

Why is it important?

Our study not only predicts skin permeability but also categorizes FDA-approved drugs based on their potential for transdermal drug delivery, offering valuable insights for drug development and formulation.

Perspectives

Our research underscores the significance of ethics in leveraging AI for digital health and pharmaceutics. By passing animal testing, we aim to ensure responsible innovation while advancing healthcare.
