What is it about?

This paper explores the organisational characteristics third sector capacity building support providers and provides an overview of the public policy environment in which they have operated since 2004. We found that there were close ties between third sector capacity building organisations, policy makers and funders, and argue that these links mean it will be very difficult to fundamentally change the way third sector capacity building is provided, at least in the short term.
