Why is it important?

Increase in disability due to the low back pain (LBP) has a negative impact on individual functional status and employment, especially in female teachers. Therefore an emphasis on prevention and application of ergonomic principles in the workplace are crucial.

Perspectives

In the future, well-designed programs that promote healthy lifestyle for teachers (or similar professions), focused on regular physical exercises should be widely implemented.
