Why is it important?
Working with Norbert Mundorf, with his deep and wide academic connections in Germany, the University of Rhode Island (URI) based research program on tech-markets-consumers led by Ruby Roy Dholakia and Nikhilesh Dholakia, has been able to produce important books and articles on both sides of the Atlantic. A very significant research collaborator on the German side has been the group led by Wolfgang Fritz of the Technical University of Braunschweig.
