We often forget the emotional side of transitions and the feelings of relatives when a care home placement is needed.

Why is it important?
So far, four of my relatives have needed residential care. Many friends and extended family have needed to find a care home placement for loved ones. It is easy to forget the implications on emotions and relationships when a care home is needed.
Perspectives
Recently a close family member moved into a care home, this is a very poignant subject to me.
