Why is it important?
Many times nurses may face challenging situations while discussing with families and caregivers of head injury patients about telling them the chances of their loved ones' good/bad outcome. The use of calculators can make the prediction more accurate and simple.
Perspectives
It was a pleasure writing this article. I hope this article makes nurses more aware of online prediction calculators for head injury patients and this will promote its use. Bad prophecies sometimes get fulfilled by itself. So care and objectivity is needed while predicting outcome in head injury patients.
