What is it about?
Orthotics is an important profession for millions of patients in the UK. Orthotists provide orthotics (bracing, splints, bespoke footwear and many other externally worn devices) to help with mobility and accommodate deformities. The UK has a shortage of orthotists, and this article looks at how job satisfaction may be contributing to this. It also compares the job satisfaction of NHS and privately-employed Orthotists.
