Exercise can play an importance part in fall-prevention.

What is it about?

This article explains how healthcare assistants and assistant practitioners can help to reduce the risk factors of a fall by removing environmental hazards and being aware of a patient's medical problems.

Why is it important?

Many falls are caused by a loss of balance, slipping on a wet surface or tripping over a hazard. Even minor falls, trips or slips can lead to loss of dignity and adversely effect confidence and mobility.
