Explaining multiple sclerosis

What is it about?

This article is the first in a series on Multiple Sclerosis. It describes how this neurological disease affects a person's level of abilities.

Why is it important?

Multiple sclerosis is a medical condition that may affect some of the patients that healthcare assistants encounter. Understanding this disease will assist HCAs to understand practical and emotional problems that patients may have.
