Student nurses need to have placements in primary care

What is it about?

Discussing how we have hosted multiple students within a small GP practice, looking at how we can use this example to inspire others to think about hosting student. This piece of work is hoping to raise the awareness of the benefits that student nurses can bring to general practice.

Why is it important?

Primary Care is not often seen as a career for newly qualified nurses and without increasing student nurse placements this will not change. We need to get more students into primary care, these are the nurses of the future and we need more in primary care
