What is it about?

Why is it important?
It is uncommon for paramedics to manage respiratory failure in this way, and the novel approach to this patient by UK paramedics may be commonplace in other countries, but not in the UK.
Perspectives
This article took me a long time to write as I did it while completing my top-up from EMT to Paramedic. This case study was an absolute pleasure to write and work on, and I cannot thank the reviewers and editors for their help and support.
