What is it about?

There is a model of mental health recovery called "CHIME" - which stands for Connectedness, Hope, Identity, Meaning and Empowerment. Each of these is something that helps people to feel more recovered. In this editorial, the authors argue that Creativity needs to be added to the model, making it "C-CHIME".

Understanding the ways in which we can help people to feel more recovered is important. By getting in touch with their creativity, it may be possible for people to feel more well.

Perspectives

I have personally experienced the power of creativity. Whenever I have felt really low, I have found that being creative helps me to feel much better.
