What is it about?

The manuscript sets out to describe how physical activity promotion and climate change interconnect. it proposes certain research priorities that should be undertaken to align physical activity promotion with the challenges posed by the climate crisis.

Why is it important?

The impacts of the climate crisis on human health are already felt globally. Public health and all sub disciplines need to adapt and align their research priorities accordingly.

Perspectives

This was an important publication for me. It helped me focus on my research priorities, and I am now studying extensively how physical activity promotion needs to change to support people in choosing sport and exercises that are good for them and also for planetary health.
