What is it about?

As men age, their testosterone levels may slowly decline. In addition many older men have clinical symptoms and signs that are suggestive of testosterone deficiency. Yet, age-related illnesses and obesity can also decrease testosterone levels, and may contribute to the clinical symptoms and signs that these older men complain of. So, although difficult, loosing weight and taking care of your health may increase testosterone levels and reduce the severity of bothersome symptoms. On the other hand testosterone treatment, may in carefully selected cases have potential benefits, yet long potential term risks are not fully known. Here we describe a holistic management approach designed to optimise well being of such men.
