What is it about?

When analyzing seismic data, sometimes it is difficult to differentiate structures like folds and faults. We show which seismic attributes are useful for distinguishing these structural elements, remarking the importance of using analogs for seismic interpretation. Our study focuses on the Taranaki Basin, New Zealand.

Why is it important?

Not all seismic interpreters have the same expertise. There is a need to report effective seismic attributes and/or workflows that help less experienced interpreters.
