What is it about?

The paper presents a case study from the northern Barents Sea, in which seismic, controlled source electromagnetic and well log data are combined in a multi-physics workflow to reduce exploration uncertainty. The results demonstrate that a more robust answer is achieved through the combination data types than can be achieved when only one is considered.

Why is it important?

The result leads to a better characterization of the sub-surface, which in turn allows more robust exploration decision making.
